Description: This is a 3-story health center at 6200 Beach Channel Drive, in Arverne, Far Rockaway, Queens. The development is projected to double the capacity of the existing space, providing more medical resources to the growing population. The added square footage will allow for expanded capacity to bring essential health services to the neighborhood, which is designated as medically underserved according to federal guidelines. The 37-foot tall structure will yield an extra 22,000 square feet, boosting the site total to 44,000 square feet. 21 new exam rooms, clinics, and community spaces will be added.
